A variety of clubs to choose from
Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Club: SERE Club is an elite group dedicated to teaching AF SERE principles and pushing members to their limits through hands-on training in wilderness survival, tactical evasion, and resilience under pressure. Whether braving the elements, outmaneuvering pursuit, or enduring high-stress scenarios, this club prepares you to survive and thrive when the odds are stacked against you!

Aviation Club: Aviation Club is for cadets passionate about rated careers and aviation, offering hands-on flight simulation, educational workshops, and networking with Air Force pilots, aircrew, and maintainers. Whether you’re pursuing a rated slot or simply interested in aviation, this is the place to learn and connect.

i5 Space Hyde Squadron: i5 is a nationwide club, focused on informing and educating cadets and civilians about the United States Space Force and the space domain in general. Through space based GLPs, wargames, and active duty Guardian guest speakers, our Hyde Squadron makes the vast domain of space both attainable and enticing!

Sierra Hotel Booster Club (SHBC): SHBC is a club whose mission is to help support and fund cadet-led clubs and morale events bringing new leadership opportunities to up-and-coming cadets allowing them to build their leadership qualities now so that when they are commissioned into the Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant, they are ready to effectively lead and serve the United States of America!
Hangar Hours: Hangar hours is a club that’s main purpose is to boost morale among the detachment. Members vote on different activities to host throughout the semester such as glow in the dark capture the flag, sport tournaments, or game nights.

Football Club: Det 905’s Football Club is open to all cadets of any skill level. We practice weekly to prepare for future matches such as intramurals, games versus our sister branches, and the annual Cascade Cup. Outside of preparing for games, it is also a great way to build morale and camaraderie among cadets across all classes. Appreciation for the game, camaraderie, and competition brings us all together.

Arnold Air Society: Arnold Air Society (AAS) is a national organization dedicated to developing cadets through leadership training, professional development, and honorary service. AAS upholds U.S. Air Force traditions and participates in community outreach events to improve relationships between military and civilian institutions.
Special Warfare Club (SWC): Special Warfare Challenge (SWC) promotes Trust, Tenacity, and Teamwork by pushing cadets to their physical and mental limits. It aims to increase interest in Air Force Special Warfare careers while also creating better officer candidates for all career fields.

Honor Guard: Honor Guard is a club where cadets are able to practice the skills necessary to perform ceremonial duties at various official events including sports games, parades, ceremonies and more.

Running/Rucking Club: The Det. 905 Running/Rucking Club seeks to improve cadets’ strength, endurance, and overall physical health while ensuring all cadets feel comfortable participating regardless of skill level. We aim to improve PFA performance through safe, structured training that emphasizes injury prevention and personal growth.
