Congratulations on your decision to join the Air Force ROTC at Detachment 905. This is your first step to earning a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force (USAF) or the United States Space Force (USSF).

Our New Cadet Orientation is a mandatory event held for all incoming cadet before the start of each fall semester. During orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet Detachment 905 cadre and cadets, while accomplishing required paperwork to get you enrolled in the program. If you are unable to attend orientation, please send us an email at afrotc.det905@wsu.edu to let us know.

Review and print the Fall2026 Reporting Instructions Checklist and bring it along with the required documents/items to New Cadet Orientation.

1. Create an account on WINGs (Complete as many sections in WINGs as you can prior to orientation) ***No need to upload documents
2. RSVP for your New Cadet Orientation on August 23rd, 2026 0900 session 1. 1300 session 2. If you can’t make it, please let us know via email.
3. Gather the required items on the AFROTC Cadet Packing List (Fall 2026) Coming Soon
4. Print/Complete the Fall2026 Reporting Instructions Checklist (Coming Soon)
5. Attend your assigned Orientation Day with your required documents.
